Discipleship Training

Faith Community Church takes seriously our Lord's command to make disciples. We have an extensive Discipleship Training course that includes four nine week courses that instill the necessary disciplines for Christian living. These are not for the faint of heart.

Children's Church

Creative lessons that not only present the Word of God so as to be understood, but activities that also apply to their life.

Evangelical Methodist Men

This is a growing ministry in our church that meets the last Sunday of each month. It is a time for our men to come together and share a great breakfast together in a casual atmosphere of fellowship accompanied by a short time of devotions designed just for men. All guys are encouraged and welcome to attend.

Evangelical Methodist Women

This meeting is held monthly and is open to ladies of all ages. It is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, sharing, serving, and spiritual growth.

Midweek Ministry

Wednesday nights are packed full of ministry to our people. There is not always time to come home from work, cook for the family, and get to church. We offer a meal for the whole family in the fellowship hall for a nominal charge.

Music Ministry

Music plays an important roll at Faith Community Church as it is incorporated in all age group levels. We love to sing songs of celebration ranging from favorite hymns to the cutting edge of contemporary praise songs. Adult and children's choir offer opportunities for ministry and spiritual growth.

Adult Ministry Provides:

• An atmosphere for healing and restoration
• Counseling, prayer, and fellowship
• Biblically sound teaching on all aspects of life
• Help and support during life changing events
• Opportunity to worship the Lord through service to others

Youth Ministry Provides:

• Opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills and use their talents for Christ
• Teaching service to those less fortunate
• Fundraisers to help parents in the cost of trips and activities
• Impactful Wednesday night and Sunday school meetings for teens to learn what it's like to know and do the will of God
• Annual Summer camp to Shocco Springs Alabama in June - dates to be annouced
• Youth Praise Band

Computer Ministry

The mission of the Computer Ministry is to introduce church members to the personal computer and its many applications, and to enhance the knowledge of those who are already familiar with the personal computer.

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE FREE. Computers will be available if you are willing to travel thirty minutes from the church. We are always looking for new workshops so email keithroe@comcast.net with your learning needs. If there is enough interest in a topic, we'll form a class.
