Style of preaching:
Expository and Topical with a simple emphasis on doing my best to reveal
the truth of Gospel with an enthusiastic approach along with a simple outline, accompanied
by simple illustrations and stories relevant to the life we live and the world we
are in.
Religious views:
There are many things I believe all according to the Scriptures as found in the
Bible.
- I believe that unless a man is born again he cannot enter heaven at death.
- I believe that Jesus was and is the One He claimed to be which was and is none other
than the Son of God. His time here on earth was spent as the incarnate Son of God
who was and is coequal and coeternal with God the Father.
- At His ascension He sent His very presence the Holy Spirit to be our guide and comforter
as found in Acts chapter 2. The church is His bride and at His return both will
be united forevermore.
- The church's mission, in this present world, is to evangelize those who are without
the Savior. Lastly, I believe Jesus' words from John 14:6, I am the way the truth
and the life, no one comes unto the Father except through Me. Jesus is not one
of many ways or one probable way, He is the only way a human soul can live eternally
by believing in His life, death, burial and resurrection.
Goals for the church:
To most of all be a healthy congregation of believers who are daily becoming disciples
of the Lord Jesus. My wish is that every member will discover and explore their
God given gifts and talents for ministry in the church that we might be salt and
light in our community, county, state, country and beyond.
